Like much of the Southern California Coast, Dana Point is a popular destination for vacationers and locals alike. It is located approximately halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego, making it easily accessible from many parts of Southern California. Dana Point features nearly seven miles of prominent coastal bluffs and rolling hills along the Pacific Ocean. The most noteworthy of the bluffs is known as the Headlands, which overlooks Dana Point Harbor. Dana Point Harbor provides slips and mooring for over 2,500 boats along with 50 specialty shops and restaurants. This area attracts many visitors for shopping, sport fishing, walking, bicycling, parasailing and many other recreational activities. Additionally, Dana Point Harbor is considered the gateway to Doheny State Park. Doheny State Park is a 62 acres and offers camping, picnicking, swimming, surfing and much more. Although Dana Point does have a variety of hotel accommodations, many of our clients find they get to experience more of the local culture by staying in a vacation rental.
